In memory of Logan Wesley Goff
Logan was more than just a friend to me, he was like family. I am saddened by his loss, so in effort to remember much happier times, I must post a few games that are not Nintendo based as a token of my gratitude for having known him. So lets begin:
Battle-toads & Double Dragon Your typical platform fighting game, very addictive very fun. I preferred using a toad, Logan liked using one of the "dragons". Both toads and humans have good fighting style, the bosses are fun but not to challenging to keep you playing. I give it 4 stars for being way ahead of its time.
Halo 1 and 2: These games are what a first person shooter-gamer dream of, when they dream of first person shooter games:P
They are jam packed with weapons, vehicles, baddies, levels, multiplayer and online play. Logan was one of the best halo players I know. Between him and Kevin i could hardly stay alive in a match. Loads of fun.
5 stars and a grenade up your ass Love both of these games
Fable This one gets an honorable mention due to the fact that it had a whorehouse in it ^.^ Both Logan and I thought that was just great. You even get a "Pimp Hat" if you sleep with a buttload of the girls. Top that off with a great interface and smooth graphics with real time battle, sweet ass magic and major fun boss battles and you have a formulae for a game that you can play over and over again.
Customizable tattoo's as well. Be evil or good your choice or play the middle and see what happens. Its an awesome game. Pick it up and you will be surprised.
4 and a half stars.
.
Last but by far not least
Darkfall
this mmorpg is top of the line. best i have seen since EQ it puts both WoW and EQ2 to shame. Many of Logan's spare days were spent in raid or just flat out asserting himself with violence in this one of a kind online game.
Ganking, looting, stabbing, magics, this game has the works. Build you own weapons, gather spell components, Steal some one else's stuff, raid a city or run from a pack of wild looters if your silly enough to get caught out alone and unprepared. Don't be discouraged. Everyone gets Ganked a few times, really..
If your not into mmorpg's then I feel for you. They are the future of gaming and this one will be there first.

Q'Bert Atari Crossover 2
This is one of my favorites from the Atari remade for NES. Originally an arcade game put out by Gottlieb(who) Go here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q*bert Q'Bert was always one of those games I was to afraid to loan out for fear of theft. I had a few NES games stolen so I stopped loaning out my favorites after that It is a platform puzzle game with progressive difficulty. That involved lighting up squares on a pyramid. Play here http://www.playnes.net/play/608/Q-bert.html
It gets kinda really impossible if your as rusty at the game as I am. I used to make lvl 3 in no time. Today I was barely able to make it to lvl 3
It must be a rule , that you have to suck at games you haven't played for a few years...ಠ_ಠ
But despite my inability to do as well as i once did I still enjoyed the game as much as I did way back when. Well maybe a little bit less. But all in all a decent crossover from Atari/arcade to the NES.
Sorry if i have slowed down posting i am in the process of building a new pc. Should pick up after that is finished Till next time. Game on!

Super Mario Bros: /Duck Hunt: Cause two games are better.
These two games came with my first nes. I always liked combo carts. Its like getting more for your moneys:P.But when it comes to Super Mario Bros and Duck-Hunt as a combo they just can't be topped. Super Mario Bros has tons of glitches you can recreate, like the 1up shell glitch,-------------------------------------->
and the world -1 glitch, the bullet bill on lvl 6-3 glitch,<---------------------
and the little man with firepower. lol The first time I saw the lil dude running around shooting stuff I was amazed.

I personally, liked playing after you had saved The Princess once already. It was more challenging and was more fun for that reason.
Duck Hunt was just awesome to. I have to admit, I often avoided playing the duck shooting part due to that blasted dog.
His constant presence was an irritant i could not handle. If you wish to kill that insipid mutt go here.http://www.tripletsandus.com/80s/80s_games/duckhunt.htm But I loved the clay shooting it was just excellent in so many ways. I loved to post up as far from the screen as I could and pop disks for hours on end."Nintendo" is owned by Nintendo of America Inc. No infringement is intended by this blog.
